Hi there. Remember me? It’s been a little while, so this will be a long post.
First off, I did finish Wicked.

It’s not what I had hoped for, it’s too big around the hem, and the arms are also too big. But I didn’t want to frog and knit again.

Pattern: Wicked
Yarn: Rowan All Seasons Cotton in Mocha, 6 or 7 skeins (don’t remember)
Needles: US 7
Mods: Left out front pocket.
Next up, I finished my Noro socks.

I am so happy with these socks. The plain stockinette made for a simple, quick knit, and I really liked the different toe-up method – no short rows! The yarn was great, too. I know some people don’t like it a lot because it’s a little bit thick-and-thin, and it does break kind of easily, but in spite of that I really enjoyed working with it.

Pattern: Wendy’s Toe-Up Socks (has to be one of the easiest methods out there)
Yarn: Noro Kureyon Sock, 1 skein, color S164
Needles: US 1
And, I also finished a sweater I never blogged about, Green Gable.

This was very quick, easy and fun. I think I may be finished with short-sleeved top-down raglans, though. By the time I’ve reached the appropriate bust measurement, the sleeves are way too big, and flare out at the ends. I have made mid-to-long-sleeved top-down raglans that fit well, so I think I’ll just have to stick with those.

Pattern: Green Gable
Yarn: Cascade Sierra, 4 skeins in Color 403
Needles: US 6 (4mm) & US 4 (3.5 mm)
Mods: Added waist shaping, shortened lace section, lengthened body.
See you next time with some cowls!

Those socks are so cute! And I really like the sweaters that you’ve made. The detail at the top of green gables is so pretty!
