The Elegant Ribbed Stockings are finished!
Pattern: Elegant Ribbed Stockings by Ann Budd from Favorite Socks, published by Interweave Press.
Yarn: Dale of Norway Heilo, 4 skeins purchased from my LYS, Crazy Girl Yarn Shop
Needles: US 5, 6, & 7
Mods: I cast on for the women’s size, but when I got to the heel flap, it was way to big. So I did the child’s size heel flap, and picked up stitches on the flap for the child’s size. However, I only did the gusset decreases down to the women’s size. The socks fit perfectly!
I think I started these sometime in October. I finished the first sock pretty quickly, but I waited about two months to cast on for the second sock. It’s great to have this project done!
I can’t wait to make my next knee high socks, most likely the Spiral Boot Socks from Interweave Knits Summer 2007.
